All river floats are approximately 6 - 8 hours in length utilizing a spacious inflatable river raft designed specifically for river fishing. Float trips include rods, reels, and tackle. Back Country / Mountain Guided Trout trips
Book a trip with Old Dominion Outfitter and Guide Service and experience back country Virginia trout fly fishing at its best. We offer full day back country guided trips into the George Washington National Forest and the Shenandoah National Park were you will fish for beautiful wild brook trout. Full day guided trips average approximately 6-8 hours. All trips include rods, reel, and tackle. Also included, light snacks and beverages.

License Requirements (Float Trips)
All Virginia freshwater fishing regulations/laws apply to these trips. For nonresidents of Virginia, a nonresident 1 day freshwater fishing license can be purchased for $8.00 or a nonresident 5 day freshwater fishing license can be purchased for $21.00. |
License Requirements (Mountain Guided Trout Trips)
All Virginia freshwater fishing and trout fishing regulations/laws apply to these trips. For nonresidents of Virginia, a nonresident 1 day freshwater fishing license can be purchased for $8.00 or a nonresident 5 day freshwater fishing license can be purchased for $21.00. If your trip will take you to stocked trout waters from October 1 - June 15 a nonresident trout fishing license will be required in addition to the nonresident freshwater fishing license. The nonresident trout license fee is $47.00. If your trip takes you within the George Washington National Forest a National Forest permit will be required. A National Forest permit fee is $4.00. |
